Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts

Maybe you could try making your own bread? It takes a bit of time with the kneading, but you can do other things while its proving or baking. And you get to decide what goes in it. I've thought about this, especially since I'd like to be able to do stuff like put cranberries and crunchy goodies in ...

Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts

Oh yeah, definitely following all those kinds of steps. Also, my weakness is bread and pasta, but I've been choosing whole grain varieties instead as it's a little less loaded than white varieties. What sucks right now is that I don't have a freezer! Being able to freeze stuff would make this a lot ...

Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts

You don't realize how much sugar and sodium is in freaking everything until you're actively trying to cut back. I don't know how prevalent this is in Aus, but here in the states there is literally sugar and salt added to everything; I've read posts from folks of other countries saying that our bread...

Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts

Well, in good news, it seems she's not down for major transmission repair/replacement - after cooling down she worked fine... Check Engine revealed a code for a faulty shift timing solenoid. Given that it was an exceptionally hot day (open highway in Arizona) and I had done a LOT of driving, I think...

Iona was there even before I started playing (in 2004, when I was 7 years old) - I remember she was one of the first friends I made here along with Phaedros. Both of them offered me nothing but positivity, she was always happy to interact with me and had limitless patience with my often erratic beha...

Been trying to tackle some of my insane skin issues. A little bit still visible (and reduced even more since taking this picture), but overall looking better and feeling a little better about being in pictures. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/327433478796869634/617017372167110666/20190807_161...

I must say, it's a pretty pants-shitting experience when you're accelerating on the highway and the car tries to shift gears, only to instead emanate a loud THUNK that rocks the whole car and suddenly it will not shift either up or down. 0/10. She's in a shop now - I haven't covered transmission or ...

Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts

I'm finally cleaning my room, after years of allowing it to fester into a depression-nest. So far: 20 years' worth of dirt swept and scrubbed away (how do I not have asthma? No wonder my allergies are bad), walls and floor I have never seen before are now clean, two bags of buried clothes being dona...

Think there is a bug with the Skellies in Tomb of Heroes. Doing home security quest and cannot get the fourth icthor (lifestealer). Have tried several times and the boss does not appear, have respawned others without icthor of course. Maybe needs a checkout by someone else - Iona Make sure you're s...

I managed to get a hold of some real fangs, and some beads that resemble long jagged fangs. Decided to make a necklace and earrings set out of them. (Left the pic kinda big so the details on the jewelry are visible) https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/327433478796869634/559201282980708353/2019032...

Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts

Found a string of beads that look like crazy long, jagged fangs... then found a store which sells real bone stuff like antlers... including fangs! (probably from coyotes I'm guessing) Got a few fangs, gonna string them all up together and make a fangy necklace and earrings set for maximum heathen sa...

Got my first ever tattoo! (This counts for this thread, right? I don't think we have a tattoo thread anymore) It looks a little distorted in this pic because I was clumsily trying to snap a pic with my other hand (for example, the moon is not actually crooked), I'll try to take a better one once it'...

Re: Thoughts/Questions re Mystic Theurge

Sadly no, MTs cannot take the cleric/mage specific mythic spells, they will only have Mystic Union available. However, you have all the other mystic caster feats available, such as the Master of (x) series and Mythic Spell Focus.

Re: Thoughts/Questions re Mystic Theurge

a) I would personally go Evo/Conj for your foci. Necromancy sounds very theme-appropriate, but mechanically has very little application other than Harm and Horrid Wilting - so many things at high levels have death magic immunity that it (sadly) diminishes the worth of spells like Wail of the Banshee...

Re: leaving stuff on the ground

Not to worry! Mostly it becomes a big source of lag if it is left sitting around - a direct swap usually only takes a few seconds and is harmless. I also was half-asleep when I wrote my first post and should clarify: Take great care if transferring items on crafting tables. Empty server is the best ...

Re: leaving stuff on the ground

It is okay to drop a few items on the ground for transfer to another character, as long as the transferrer is quick to pick it up. However, if there's a lot of items to be transferred between characters (like lots of crafting materials), using a container like the gateway Chest would be the way to g...

Re: Anyone got that Unga Hunger?

Depending on the night (my work schedule is weird right now), Fade Draschen may join in. He's already slain Unga before, but will be happy to do the twinky-blinky magic crap on some more dragons and help put down random Scourge spawns :D He can also quite happily take the brunt of the melee damage. ...

Re: Bugs and Issues

You are correct. Search and Disable checks are entirely separate from one another; being able to see the trap does not necessarily mean that you can do anything about it. The Disable Trap skill is indeed trained-only, and yes, trained-only skills will not apply if you first take them in Mythic level...
