I've just finished watching Stranger Things which I can highly recommend. The Fall with Gillian Anderson is also a very good crime-thriller.

Just saw that this has been added to Netflix. Read all the books so far and can't wait to get stuck into the TV series.

Re: i5-6600K or i7-6700K for gaming build

its worth investing in a good CPU (and motherboard) I'm currently looking at the Gigabyte Z170-HD3 as my new motherboard as it has received some good reviews for its price-point (2015 Editor Recommends from Tom's Hardware and currently ~$180). Do you have any other boards that I could look at? The ...

Thanks for the input Mythor and bender. I think I will invest the extra $100 now and go for the i7 to add a bit of future-proofing to the build.

i5-6600K or i7-6700K for gaming build

Hi folks I'm in the final stages of locking down the components for my new build but the last component I'm still not 100% sure on is the CPU. It's either going to be an i5-6600K or an i7-6700K. The build will be just for gaming and I've read a heap of forums on i5 vs i7 (Tom's Hardware, Anandtech, ...

Just saw that all 7 seasons of Star Trek: Voyager are on Netflix so that will keep me occupied for a while. Some of the acting is a bit questionable but hey, it's Star Trek!!

Re: Batman: The Killing Joke

I've always been a massive fan of Batman: The Animated Series so to hear that this was made by the creators of that series is great news. And it wouldn't be Batman/Joker without having Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill in the two lead roles. As Bruce Timm said, Mark Hamill is the what the Joker sounds li...

Re: Looking to upgrade current PC

I don't really overclock. If that's something you're interested in doing though Are you looking at overclocking? Overclocking is not something that I'm interested in. The 6600 comes with a heatsink and cooler whereas the 6600k doesn't so I'm saving a bit if I stick with the 6600. Do you need a copy...

Looking to upgrade current PC

Hi Folks. I'm thinking about upgrading my current PC and wouldn't mind a bit of feedback on what people thought about my prospective upgrades. The main use of the computer is for gaming and also streaming the EPL through Foxsports. I've been looking at sourcing all the parts through an Adelaide comp...

Need new tyres - any suggestions?

I need four new tyres on my 2012 Barina Hatch (195 65 R15). As there are heaps of tyres out there can anyone recommend any? It'd be great if you drive the same car as me but if you have the same size tyres on your car that would also work. Kmart Tyre and Auto Service have a Goodyear Optilife that ha...

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Okay, without spoilers guys... what's the movie like? To follow on from this, I was listening to Kyran and Gen on Triple J this morning and they said the movie was really funny. I'm worried about this as the prequels were also "funny" in a splapsticky sort of way and even some of the altered scenes...

Re: Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice

Hmmm, not sure how this movie is going to pan out. It's apparently based on The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller but the last line of the trailer by the voiceover-guy says that it's only rated PG-13. DKR has a pretty dark storyline and plenty of violence so to only have a PG-13 rating doesn't fil...

Mockingjay Part 2

Thankfully my wife and I had free tickets to see this as I am never getting that time back. Such a boring movie with none of the sustained action of the first two movies. Why they had to split the last book into two (other than the cash grab) is beyond me. It slowed the pacing of the final book down...

Looking forward to getting my teeth into it. The author of this book series is actually two guys (Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck) who use James S. A. Well, another dismal display from NUFC over the weekend. I really don't know how things can just get seemingly worse week after week.
