Re: Recommend an ISP to churn to

Yikes, there goes Optus then. Although I manage SNR via my Billion and have it set for 3dB at the moment to get the most out of my long line. Or would Optus's settings override that? Optus DSLAMs (hardware at the exchange your modem connects to) are configured to ignore any SNR tweaking done on the...

Re: Wood Working

My father's a cabinet maker and runs his own small business which I help out in. You have to be careful when staining and varnishing as some stains contain a lot of oil and/or wax so the final result when varnished can be disappointing. Re: What's in your console(s) right now?

I'm not playing any consoles atm. I have a PS2, Gamecube/Wii, PS3 and Xbox360. The PS4 and Xbox One hardware just isn't good value considering how technically weak it is and their exclusive libraries don't contain anything I really want so I've no problem waiting for price drops and/or exclusive gam...

Re: Recommend an ISP to churn to

I've been a member of Internode for around 13 years, but with TPG removing a lot of the premium features I enjoy, I'm not certain how much longer I will remain a member. Are there any ISPs left apart from the big 3 that are worth considering? I may churn to Optus, as I have my mobile with them, but...
