Re: XCOM 2

I like the turn timers a lot. Gives a sense of urgency to the mission and punishes the slow overwatch creep you'd do normally. Overwatch in general has been nerfed now that it can be cancelled by taking a hit from something else. General strategy for most missions is run in concealment as close as y...

Re: XCOM 2

I had a slight bug in my game, in the world view the thing that should have only taken one day to scan for resources wound up running for over a month. It wasn't until I went into a particular screen and back again that every single alert I missed popped up at once. Had to load the game from the las...

Deception: Murder in Hong Kong

So I figure since I'm fairly passionate about games these days I should probably start reviewing them and sharing my experiences. Deception: Murder in Hong Kong is a social deduction game that borrows elements from other games across a few genres and marries them together really well. How it works :...

Re: Tabletop Gaming

Part of the problem is a lot of people lump everything with cards or dice into the same category, so when you talk about board gaming, some people take it to mean Cards against Humanity, and others take it to mean Terra Mystica and everything in between. It's a language issue mainly. I'd say superfi...

Re: Diablo III

Yeah, WD is a bit harder I think. Still need other LoN ring and starmetal kukri to make build work. Still, running T9 without any real issues, just need a bit more damage/surviability for T10

Re: Diablo III

I'm working towards this build for my WD http://www.diablofans.com/builds/69904-2-4-gr90-lon-firebat-gargantuam-group I've got a fair few pieces already. Helm is perfect (ancient, 993 int, CHC 10%) Wrists are perfect Belt, Offhand, 1 of the rings, amulet all decent, but not perfect (missing ancient,...

Re: Diablo III

I played for the first time in like 4 patches. Got my WD to 70. Only have the set dungeon to do for the season chapter.

I wish the game was like this on release. I wasted so much time leveling characters to 60, and now it's actually fun to level from 1 to 70.

Spyfall is heaps of fun. Played it a fair bit recently. Spies getting caught out on questions like, would you describe the food here as reasonable? (when on airplane)

Re: G930 Issues

I plugged the receiver directly into my mobo at one of the ports on the back. I know quite often some motherboards can't provide enough voltage across the longer extension cables for some devices to work.

Re: G930 Issues

I've got a pair but I don't have any issues like that. My guess would be either power the USB port where the receiver is is flaky, causing it to drop in and out. Try a different port directly on computer (not via a long extension cable or something else)

The only game i've really hit a performance hitch in on the highest detail was the witcher 3, which i solved by turning off hair fx. BIG SUPRISE ;p My overall system is s...

Plague Inc Multiplayer

So for a long time this game was SP only, when they patched in multiplayer I was interested to see how it went, so my brother and I faced off a few times. Review: It's a much more challenging game against an opponent. There's two win conditions, be the first disease to infect everyone in the world, ...

Re: Tabletop Gaming

Oh I get that. It's more that it seemed counter intuitive in a game about killing zombies the best strategy involves not killing zombies until you've opened everywhere, or sharing the kills around so no one is really far behind.

Re: Tabletop Gaming

Yeah of course, but it became pretty apparent to us early on that you just want to open as many buildings as you can early on, so you spawn zombies at the low level. Also being that it was a pure coop, once someone recognises this it's hard to play as an individual.

Re: Tabletop Gaming

I like zombicide, but i didn't like the mechanic of levelling up. It just led to having someone avoid killing a zombie to keep the level low.
