Read the excerpt on kindle awhile ago - seemed interesting but didn't really feel like picking it up then ,looks like i might want to do that now if Jacksons making a movie.....though after the Hobbit i'm not sure,(I really didn't like the Hobbit "trilogy",the padding he did to make such a small book into a trilogy just destroyed the story for me ,and after what he did with The Lord of The Rings it was "disappointing" to see the mess that was the Hobbit!)

I got nothing for ya... I was raised to not do things I wouldn't want done to myself. And that's why anal sex is off the agenda.

I'm re-reading Lord of the Rings now, and I'm more impressed than ever at the job Peter Jackson did in getting the story as true to the books as is possible on a film adaptation. You could tell he loved the source material and had the skill to pull it off. Also not sure WTF happened with The Hobbit - my only guess is the studio decided it would make more money by copying what LOTR did.

Which is a long way of saying this looks cool and I'll probably catch it when it comes to streaming services.

The books were good, for anyone who's unaware: the 60 min war is over, most of the earth is dead and the capitol cities survived by going mobile and consuming resources (and each other). Dirigible privateers (essentially) vs cities vs cities vs the rebel remnants of the Asiatic nations who live in the mountains and use chemical weapons.

Oh and a brainwashed former general turned cyborg assassin who just won't fucking die.

I loved the contrasting images of down below, a small town is being terrorised, attacked and eventually being consumed, yet the flyover shows a nice, well manicured peaceful park with people seemingly to be enjoying a stroll on a nice sunny day in the park...

I mean it looks cool. But my goodness were there a lot of cliche movie lines in that second trailer. Probably will see it, but probably not for the dialogue, lol.
