Masters of Doom

The Franco brothers are producing a pilot episode about the creation of Doom. If done right, this ought to be interesting.

Yeah I wouldn't mind reading it one of these days too.

I currently have a copy of Moral Combat that I need to start on. Sounds like something for the 1hr bus ride to work that starts next week.

The audiobook version (what I have) is read by Wil Wheaton. That is reason enough to listen.

The book is fantastic, though I have no idea how you can make a show out of it. So much of it is guys sitting for long hours at computers coding and eating pizza. Then gaming and eating pizza. It was all a very interesting tale of their personalities, but the events themselves are mostly unglamorous.

So it'll be interesting to see what they do with it.
