I haven't seen Black Panther but if it's on par with the likes of Ant Man or Doctor Strange, Infinity War won't disappoint. It's way better than the usual marvel flick and on par with Ragnarok imho.

Yeah, Infinity War went alright, spot on assessment I reckon Mugsy.

Watched Gone Girl. Left it so long because I figured I knew how it'd go. Turned out I did not know how it would go. I really liked it.

I should probably go watch Gone Girl myself... another movie to catch up on.

Just finished watching Cobra Kai... I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I have. Also can't remember the last time I saw a girl getting a wedgie. And it started off looking like it was literally gonna be a "grab her by the pussy" moment.

Gone Girl is good - it's the closest film to a Hitchcock thriller that's not actually Hitchcock I've seen.

At the moment, I'm rewatching Community. Apart from season 4, the show really holds up. Also starting season 2 of Sons of Anarchy.

I still can't believe they got Henry Rollins to play a Nazi  I saw him do spoken word about a year ago and he said it's one of the primary things he gets recognised for now.

Binged 6 episodes of cobra kai last night and will probably finish it off tonight.

Also season finale of agents of shield was rather dusty. Happy it’s been renewed but that episode would have worked well as a last episode ever

It's movie night tonight, but my wife is watching the royal wedding.

Greatest movie night ever.

Watched the first two episodes of The Frozen Dead on Netflix last night - French police thriller. It's definitely a slow-burner but pretty impressed so far. Hopefully Netflix will bring some Nordic-noir to its lineup.

Also looking forward to Counterpart on SBS when it airs in August - looks like a pretty cool concept and JK Simmons is a damn good actor and has received quite the kudos for his role(s) in this:

So I finally got around to starting season 2 of Stranger Things, and in the 16 months since I watched the first season, it turns out I've forgotten who everyone is and what happened. All I know is the producers of this show went all out with the 80s nostalgia.

Killing Eve. It's got Sandra Oh in it and a psychopathic assassin and it's properly entertaining. Not very heavy on the drama but still serious enough and they move things along at a rapid pace. I'd recommend giving it a watch.

And the whole first season is on Iview! Was quite surprised to see that actually - https://iview.abc.net.au/programs/killi ... 632A001S00

Would have been 10x better if they kept the crazy Afrikaner robot guy as the baddie IMO.

It's been a while since I watched a Marvel film. Is X-Men 2 still the gold standard?

I think I would have enjoyed Deadpool more if it wasn't so hyped up by the time I saw it. And that my brother and his wife didn't tell me half of the 4th wall jokes in advance.

Just finished watching Archer: Dreamland - not great. There are still some extremely funny moments in the series but as a whole it was disappointing. I feel there's been a steady decline after season 4. Some shows should definitely quit while they're ahead.
