comp getting serious with some interesting results over the weekend, the doggy's seem to have found some form but the fact that Mini and Makena picked them indicates some mafia influencers are a work :questioningwink:

and how good are the Dees, they could have won by 12 but choose to win by 1 :D

The coaching is the problem, Goodwin just needs to explain to the players that kicking between the big post yields 6 and the little posts 1, I don't think the players understand that...

15-8 98 v 7-15 57; we still would have lost by 1 point but when give yourself a chance anything can happen....
fuck!

good news is Melbourne didn't lose this weekend and I had a chat with Goodwin and they are reviewing the training in Bali during the week, the long flight back for the game is a challenge.

and seriously mini, the bulldogs how and why you picked them has me reviewing your mafia connections... well played with a 6v6

My tipping is 50% wild guesses this year... and they seem to be the tips I get right

No-one would have predicted that the umpires were on Essendon's payroll. Seriously, if that went the other way, Eddie McGuire would be up in arms about how the league favours the non-Victorian clubs...

the battle for 2nd is heating up, good round from Hamish.
and good to see the Dees performing at the top of their game and only losing by less than 20, moving the training venue to Tahiti is definitely paying dividends :(

good effort by the Dees to only lose by 33 points though not sure why they reverted to a 15 player formation midway through the 3rd, perhaps Goodwin is pushing for a rugby union coaching job next year.

and Hamish grabs second on the table, well played :)

last game this weekend for the home&away comp and looks like Mini will take first unless he forgets to put in his tips. Hamish looks best for second and me and Makena will ironically battle it out for third;
unlike our team the Dees who have had the worst year in about five seasons and we can only hope that this doesn't usher in another 10 years of not making the finals... 2007-2017 :(
the redlegs have truly been the deadlegs this year, turning certain victory into defeat, giving up at 3/4 time and just not even enjoying their footy... new coach and training venue methinks, training in Bali and Tahiti certainly didn't work this year and a good win became a lame loss lol :)

however, it should be a great finals series :D

Official results for the season... Mini takes home the meat tray, Hamish a free shout and Makena a beanie. some good games this year (except the ones involving the Dees) and should be a cracking final series...

Go the mighty Lions :)
