For fucks sake Port.
" except sub Port with Dees

season over for the Dees, up over Stkilda next week I don't think so; well at least I got to see them play once this year even if they did play like a bottom vfl side.
we should consider a few of the Matildas for next year !

Dees clinging to the 8, we have the easiest of the games this week just need gws and port to play well and we might yet scrape into the 8; lets hope the Dees remember how to win... go the Dees :D

I still can't believe Port are probably going to get a home final.

We feel like a 10-12 team right now.

top 4 look set and the Dees look like they''ll grab 7 (YAY!) though against the pies anything can happen and should be a good crowd at the G. Port, swans and the bombers should win which rounds out the 8. eagles might be chance but I'd imagine the crows will be keen for a win to claim top spot.

go the Dees :D

I like that no position is certain going into the final round. Adelaide could finish 1-2, GWS 1-4, Geelong 2-4, Richmond 3-6, Port 4-6, Sydney 4-6, Melbourne 7-8, Essendon 7-9, West Coast 8-9.

Only hope is that Sydney get a better percentage boost than the Power do so that Swans won't meet the Crows until the GF if everything else goes well.

If Swans and Port lose by enough, and if Melbourne wins by enough, then we can grab 5th! (This does require some 100+ point thrashings though lol)

It'd need to be way more than 100. More like 150-200.

If doggies don't make the final I'm jumping on either the Melbourne or Port bandwagon.

Almost time for NFL again, I'll have a thread going up in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned

your a funny one Makena :)

and doug your welcome to jump on the Dees bandwagon, it might only have 3 wheels and an old mule but if we do make it to the finals we'll be partying hard; likely v gws or the cats but anything can happen in the finals.

go the Dees :D

Only worry is that it's a sign of things to come next year. Sydney is part of the old guard, the Dogs (and Giants too) are the future.
Wrote this after the GF last year. Shows what I know about footy...

What did Gold Coast do with all those draft picks and the greatest player of this generation?! All they needed to do was be competitive with Port...

Once again Melbourne demonstrates their mastery of losing the games they need to win, and against the pies of all teams... crushing defeat and they do not deserve to be in the 8...
oh well lads off to the tattoo parlour and I suggest you all donate Saturday's match wage to a few local charities, you don't deserve that money !!

:(

swans look the goods as do the cats and should be great finals series, I'll give some thought to who I'll be cheering for, probably the swans but we have a week off to ponder :)

Tigers bandwagon for me!

Normally it'd be the Eagles if they're in and we're not, but fuck 'em this year!

I picked the tigers over the cats, think they have a chance at the G but that is the pick against the odds the other 3 should run to script.

crows do look good..... but how good were the tigers, very impressive win and a good chance to get to the GF; could well be a crows tigers final though the crows will likely have get over the swans and that will be great game !

go the Tigers :D
