Video editing software

Post by Disco » 06 May 2017, 17:32

I don't do a lot of video editing, but I've only just realized that Windows Movie Maker doesn't come with Windows 10 and I'm looking for a straightforward, affordable solution for editing game footage and gopro clips.

I've used a few in the past that were about ten times more complicated than I needed, I only want to cut video clips, maybe add some music, speed up/slow down and export the videos with decent enough quality for Youtube.

Filmora looks good, but looking for other suggestions.

you could still get it for a while, its on my sons pc but it looks like they've finally killed it.

there are a few suggestions here with reviews and stuff attached that are free which is always good :)

A less straightforward alternative is to use blender, but it does take a bit to learn.

I really wanted something simple and easy to use, Windows Movie Maker had ticked all the right boxes for me for years, I wonder why they got rid of it
