KF1 has a lot more content at this point, and I haven't gotten around to getting KF2 yet and not totally sure I will. Servers aren't too much of an issue for KF, as there is still quite a lot of Australian dedicated ones, and games.on.net should still have theirs running too I would think. KF doesn't haven't to be a priority to play, it's just another that works well for co-op :)

EDIT - Actually, Warface has a pretty good PVE co-op mode that allows for up to 6 players too, which could be kinda cool. It is also free to play.

Catching up on replying to Qs:

- Don't have Killing Floor myself at this point
- my UPlay library is more or less non existent. It's not installed but I may have made an account a while back when Ubisoft's website had that glitch and a bunch of games were free.

On Origin, if enough of us have Battlefield 4, we could always play a few games of that too. And we still have NFS Most Wanted... though, these aren't strictly co-op. Pretty sure most of us have Battlefield 3... I've yet to play that properly so could be interesting.

I think Path of Exile and Warface is a good starting point for the next game... both being free, it'll make it easier for more of us to get into them.

If we look at free to play co-op games, so that anyone can join in, then Warframe is also always going to be a pretty good candidate. (I think that is 4 players)

Player Attack has servers for this too. I purchased the $5 premium version awhile back but not played it a lot. Jumping onto a server in a group would be good fun :)

Don't think I will be about until much later tonight myself. I will definitely be up for some co-op tomorrow night though, with any of these games (I have them all downloaded)

I'm about 1.5Gb off from getting Warface. Unturned and Spiral Knights yet to start but they're small downloads.

May not get on tonight if my bro needs another proofing of his job app.

I'd go back to the coursework as it can take you all night to understanding 1 class in PoE can take quite some time esp with the skill gems system... so much to mix and match.

I'm just gonna pick what I feel like playing at the time... or pick something to compliment what you guys pick i.e. a meat shield if you guys go ranged.

Hopefully the Square Enix easter bundle has a good co-op game... can't think of anything SE has published that's co-op though.

My bro played Shadow in his play through. But I think he ended up being some sort of spell caster rather than melee.

I just loaded up my PoE account, most of my characters are very lowly... like level 5. But I reckon we should start characters in the current league... we get an empty stash so it's a proper fresh start.

Fired up Path of Exile late last night to check what my character was at. It's a level 43 Marauder , and I've solo'd the game with him once, so I sent him on holidays and created a new character, another Marauder.

I'm pretty well set with any of these games now, and will be about tonight if anyone is up for some more co-op fun in any of them.

Wait for any sales for Killing Floor, as it is normally $5 or so then.

Agree that there's no rush to purchase games not on sale. In saying that, the older Serious Sam games are all usd99c atm on Steam. They're some of the best co-op experiences I've ever had.
