USB Arcade Control Encoder for my arcade cabinet that I'm building after Mini showed me retorpie in his DIY thread, plus some T molding for the cabinet and a proper acrade cabinet style power switch so I can get an electrician mate to wire up for me.

No instructions with it but I still don't have the buttons yet... or the wood to the build the thing

I looked making a virtual pinball table when I had a 32inch flatscreen TV doing nothing before I gave it to my father, there is a massive virtual pinball community online and you can download pretty much any table you want, http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads

In the end it was going to be way to big of a project that would require a second screen to act as the score board and I'm not that big into pinball so the plans changed to an arcade cabinet which sat on the back burner until recently...

Is that a fishing tackle box?
We've got similar looking things for our Boardgame minis.
Bunnings or other 'toolbox' type vendors should have a good selection too.
Yeah, it's a Plano 5231. I only have the base game atm with three miniatures but I'm looking to add more and heard these were a great tackle box to hold them all in.

Some clothes for my new job, as I've been in jeans and steel capped boots for the past 12 years...

Just remember you're not in steel caps anymore so don't go kicking things that will hurt back ;-)

Technically this isn't a purchase but I won two tickets to go see...

Haha, good point, I'll keep that in mind.

In reality I'm not sure what to wear to my new job, I've not had to think about these things for a long time - they have advised "smart casual / business casual" and my direct manager said that she will sometimes wear pants and a shirt, sometimes a dress, sometimes jeans. Soooo, I'll just buy a few things and wait and see I guess?

Women definitely have to put more thought into their work wear than guys... I usually just got some sort of business shirt, business pants and leather shoes/boots and I'm done. Stopped wearing ties even (but then that's somewhat accepted up at Queensland due to the warmer weather).

I think you can't go wrong switching between a top with pants or skirts and then dresses. Pants will probably be more comfortable than skits/dresses to move around in (I imagine at least... can't say from experience) but having a dress/skirt will be nice alternative.

Yeah I'm not really a dress/skirt person for the most part, but after 12 years I am sooooo over wearing jeans 7 days/week so I've bought 2 pairs of black pants plus the two black/white strips tops and a pair of white pants plus the blue/white striped top. I'll just alternate those for the first few weeks until I get a bit of a feel for what feels right, I don't want to be too over dressed and definitely don't want to be under dressed. It's my first job as a 'manager' and I want to look the part without appearing to be trying too hard. A full on suit would be too much except for the monthly board meetings.

Working two jobs is tiring so I decided to treat myself a little more and found this on Gumtree for $350, brand new unopened. Never thought I'd join the console club, but it was a bargain at that price.

Don't worry about it too much Consoles are good fun. The people who get angry about them for being consoles probably aren't the type of people who give sound advice anyway.

Picked up some kindle books, still blows my mind that sometimes it's cheaper to buy a paperback book from the U.K and have it posted to Australia than it can be to buy some kindle titles..

If you enjoy Stone Colds book and want to read more wrestling stuff I highly recommend Chris Jericho's books, especially his first one, A Lions Tale: Around the World in Spandex that covers everything of his career right up to the moment he walked through the curtain on his first episode of WWF RAW

Honestly it's been YEARS since I last read one, and I can only remember reading Mankinds and The Rock's books, but I enjoyed them both.
