Show Us Your Latest Purchase - August 2017

2 different sizes. Cat likes to flick the water out of the bowl. This might help prevent it. If it fails - I'll do a bowl in a bowl and hope for the best.

For the lounge room. Hoping it stops scratching the lounge and does this.

Needed more. All from the same place.

I ordered some prints from Officeworks.

2 each, glossy and matte.
I'm going to post them to the lovely Dame Diana Rigg, and hopefully get them autographed.
I won't go into too much detail, as to avoid spoiling anything. Basically, she's awesome. Loved her in everything she's acted in.

I daresay I may order prints for some other actors. I've missed a few due to deaths.

Oh, and if you must ask, I'm a stickler for titles. Staunch monarchist - deal with it.

So we've concluded that Lucifer still likes cats, lavender scent, and older women from this new post.

I have been tempted by them a few times Kharis...

Also 2 new car tyres after mine got a screw threw it and they were fairly worn anyway...

July is the month the bulk of my bills drop so my only purchase I may make is the $1 tier for the Deep Silver Humble Bundle. Deadlight looks interesting... but I know I'll likely not play it - lol

Currently splitting my time between a place that has terrible internet and a place with nothing (and no sign of NBN at either) so decided to try a optus data sim out. $70/m for 140GB

Working pretty well atm.

Oh wow, that's actually pretty solid..and affordable too, not that I could survive on 140GB per month, but I'd make do.

I've been sharing 50Gb/m for the last 4 months, 140Gb to myself is now wonderful.

If you can get Optus 4g you should be able to get Vivid Wireless, runs on the same network. $79 for unlimited 4G. It's what I'm on until FTTN gets activated hopefully in a few weeks time.

edit: looks like Vivid is speed limited compared to yours though

I did check them out but they are band locked to 2300MHz which my local tower doesn't have so it was a no go (the joys of being rural) but I'm happy having the speed though.

Those mobile data speeds is better than my ADSL2+ speeds if I'm reading it correctly. Though, I do like only paying $50/mth for 500Gb that I never use up.

Yeah I don't really need unlimited tbh, I reckon I would only use 200-300 Gb a month on average. Although my brother does stream a lot of Netflix/Stan.

How do you find the A50's Neko? I have the same ones in yellow and have found them to be great.

Yeah I need to get some wireless headphones, now that I'm playing more Multiplayer stuff and doing it when the family have all gone to bed I've been wearing headphones all the time and my old Razer Krakens are starting to fall apart.

Also I actually got it at the end of last month but I've been kinda slack posting

I'm pretty sure the days of handheld gaming are behind me, unless I end up doing a lot of travel or something.

I like them so far, it's a bit weird reaching for my mute button and not having a cable there though and im worried about wearing out the inbuilt mute in the arm so the lads have to listen to me clear my throat more when gaming. Sound wise im still trying to find a setup that i like, running the beastmode2 config from their forum atm but what i really want is the old media preset from the a40's (the bottom right one)... always seems better than anything else at hearing footsteps etc in PUBG.

Had some good games tonight, i think i just need to retrain my ears a little.

Bought an autographed picture of Diana Rigg, in the event she doesn't sign the ones I will send.
(As Olenna Tyrell)

Ordered prints of:
Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf
Dame Maggie Smith from Downton Abbey
Sir Patrick Stewart as Professor X
Sir Michael Gambon as Dumbledore
And Dame Edna Everage (Barrey Humphries).
(Just google them, I am not going to post images)

Bought stamps from the Royal Mail (UK). Getting them sent out here is a lot of trouble.
(Stamp pictures aren't interesting)

A lot of trouble for some autographs. But they're all quite old so going to get them before they die, hopefully.
