NES Classic returning 2018

Post by Mugsy » 12 Sep 2017, 21:40

While some of us are anticipating our SNES mini's coming later this month, it looks like the NES classic may be making a return next year...

Might consider getting one if the controller wire length is fixed.

Now I remember why I didn't get it the first time around.... Not many good beat em ups. The jap version has River City Ransom. US and PAL versions don't.

Also fairly certain you can buy items for about the same or less cost that have hundreds of games on them across multiple platforms, if that's what you're buying it for.

Main reason I want it is for the Super Mario Bros games. Anything else that's good is a bonus.

I've looked at a few in the past and the main reason why I don't get those devices is that the controllers are usually pretty crap. That would be the second reason I didn't get the NES mini... short cables and I eventually decided that the old rectangular controllers probably aren't all that ergonomic for me now.

The SNES mini seems like a better deal since I don't mind the SNES controller (though, I do admit 21 games is pretty low... could have done with a lot more titles)... and besides, I never got to own a SNES... and I got into the Mega Drive towards the end of its lifespan so I don't mind getting a SNES mini for the experience of finally owning an official Nintendo console.

I got nothing for ya... I was raised to not do things I wouldn't want done to myself. And that's why anal sex is off the agenda.

I know what you mean there. There are some gullible people but I wouldn't want to add to the situation either.
