I got nothing for ya... I was raised to not do things I wouldn't want done to myself. And that's why anal sex is off the agenda.

Nope, I wore them a lot actually...not every day, but frequently on weekends, they've been on heaps of holidays, to concerts/music festivals/raves and I wore them pretty well anytime I knew I was going to be doing "lots of walking" because they were so damn comfortable. They honestly looked hobo as fuck for the past 5+ years though, I knew I needed to part with them but I found it really hard to do for some reason.

That's it's the difference between now and 20 years ago though, shit used to be made to last - I can't imagine I'll get anywhere near 19 years out of the new pair, but I'll check back in with y'all when I'm 56 and will let you know if my Glitter Kicks are still kickin'

Just 'purchased' valet parking for our Cruise in April (Still rooms available on the ship Neko, it's not too late...

Previously, we've parked at the Opera House which is $27/day, had to walk over a kilometre dragging suitcases etc, pay for and load ourselves and our luggage onto a ferry, unload ourselves off the ferry and walk about half a kilometre to the terminal... then do the reverse on disembarkation. A pain in the arse, and even worse if you end up caught in inclement weather.

Anyway, with these guys you simply call them on approach to the cruise terminal, they have the make/model/rego of your car, so they're waiting when you pull up. They run over, open the door to help you out of the car, unload your luggage and take it to the bag-drop area for you, take a quick video/photos of your car's condition on handover and then they drive it off to a secure parking area.

On the day before arrival in Sydney, you text them your assigned time for disembarking then on the day of disembarkation you shoot them another text as you cross the gangway onto dry land and just like magic they meet you at the front of the terminal with your freshly washed/cleaned car, help load your luggage and send you on your way.

They have amazing reviews and they only charge $25/day - so cheaper, easier, better.

I wanna know how these bastards know exactly what I use?

I bought a pair of birkenstocks from a brick and mortars store in October 2017. Haven't googled birkenstock all this time. This morning, Kogan sends me a $20 credit voucher and then sends me an email of a birkenstock deal. And it's the exact model of birks that I wear... the only ones that felt comfortable too!

Anyway, after factoring in P&H which just gets me over the minimum spend for the $20 credit, it worked out to be half the price of the B&M store's price so I thought why not?

What, that I have fucked up feet and need lots of arch support regardless of how fugly my shoes are? :P

Also bought a pair of discounted shorts from Myers on Friday night with a further $10 off from a coupon. I think they were these:

I didn't like my pants purchase from a few years back so hopefully these ones are more comfy. They're a bit stretchy which hopefully means they continue to be comfy.

And yeah, it was probably through my credit card that they found out my shoe purchase.

Yeah but you can get arch support without wearing THOSE. Do you wear them with socks?

Arch support addons for sandals absolutely suck. They come off too easily and if I get a hard enough surface that doesn't flex much (i.e. less chance of the arch support moving and coming off), it exacerbates my plantar fibromatosis. From the rather extensive range of sandals I've tried which includes Birkenstock's Jewish competitor (ironic that the Jews are competing with the Germans in the space of orthotic sandals), those ones aren't designed for me and isn't good for my plantar fibromatosis and all the other brands aren't that much better.

The second best option I've found are Archies:

https://archiesfootwear.com.au/

Problem is that Archies make thongs so have that bit between the big toe and the other toes which causes issues itself in both discomfort and the health of my foot. I still have a few pairs of Archies but I can't wear them for long.

This particular model in the Birkenstocks seems to be designed just right for my foot issues. It's not the softest inner sole but the shape of the support doesn't press against where my plantar fibromatosis is. Even most of the other Birks aren't quite right.

Like I said, I have fucked up feet.

I feel like if arch support is an issue in sandlles then you need to understand that you wear sandles too much.

Hope the portable air con supplies some relief mate. My parents found setting up the portable one I got them to be cumbersome. Otherwise it worked OK. Now I need to go about selling it for them.

EDIT: Looked up when I posted the portable air con purchase...

I was just dying to get a new space heater for many weeks. Just read a number of gas and electric space heater reviews from here https://bestazy.com/best-space-heaters- ... arge-room/ and now, we decided to go with a gas heater. But still, my father is in favor of an electric heater and according to him, we shouldn't waste the natural gas in this way. However, I only want a heated home instead of thinking which one.

I can vouch for this very accurate description :twocents-02cents:

Ironically, I'm having some right now with my chili con carne (yeah, I know it's breakfast... the joy of bachelor life and eating through leftovers before a new batch of cooking is made).

Nice looking 8 course meal there Cherry. Hope you guys enjoy it.

My bro, a friend and I went to Donna Chang's for dinner on Thurs. Didn't think we could do the 8 course $88pp banquet but ended up spending $200 on the 4 dishes, and wine that we had anyway... in hindsight we should have just done the banquet.

I've purchased a new hairdryer. It's a Babyliss Pro dryer and it's really better than the old piece of rubbish I had before:
Image
I always hated my old blowdryer... Luckily, it was totally broken the last weekend :) I've found the reviews of some better models on mystraightener and picked up this one. It works perfect, no complains.

So worth investing in a great hair dryer if you use one regularly. I have the Dyson and I love it, I would never in a million years spent that on a hair dryer but Disco bought it for me as a surprise and I'm glad he did.
