Been on the fence with this one over xmas/new years. GreenMan Gaming had the cheapest price and they sent me a further discount code which sealed the deal.

That looks really cool, Darius! Can't believe they still haven't banned them though, that's getting pretty realistic now.

One of the reasons I went for the wells ,no way with the clear receiver can it be looked at as anything other than a toy , though in victoria you'd still need a replica licence - most states are fine with them and their ok federally now - NSW is the only one where their considered real firearms.... in one court case the NSW dpp's trying to say that gel balls come under the definition of deadly ammunition

Oh no, did they update the laws in NSW? Might need to destroy my P90. :(

[Edit] Found a news story with the guy who was selling the P90s shown. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-10-28/ ... d/10418474
Banned in NSW and Victoria, if anyone was thinking about it again this year!

Yeah , been following Brads case for ages now , nsw dpp keeps delaying , at one stage there they kept missing dates to hand over their "Evidence" and the judge keeps asking them why , if the charges are so serious , they haven't asked for brad to be in custody and there's no bail!! Hell they even allowed him to move to queensland and he's restarted Armoured Heaven!!

That's a bit rubbish. Just outlaw them and prohibit future sales and move on, poor guy.

You know it's fucked up when it's easier to buy a real gun than a toy gun

Airsoft, Air Rifles and Paintball guns need to be made application only with no safe storage or licence requirements, just be a fit and good person and done.

A mate of mine has a Crossman .177 air rifle, it's got "Ages 12 and up" written on it.

Speak of the devil.. had this in the mailbox today:

With this idiotic law, they've turned a bunch of people who own a TOY GUN into criminals in possession of a prohibited firearm.

funny part is the way gel blasters work is the same as a nerf gun , which is why the fed's have allowed them , and with the gel balls being classed as "Ammunition" in nsw florists ,decorators and people buying them from bunnings and craft stores are all now breaking the law...talk about a bunch of idiots!
Give you an idea of the difference in attitudes , before christmas the Queensland police put a notice on their face book page warning people that gel blasters are cool and fun But someone could mistake them for a real gun so be careful playing with them in public , yet in nsw a father was in a car pulled over in northern nsw near the border ,(he was the passenger) ,and the car was searched , they found 2 blasters he'd bought as xmas presents for his kids, and they found a amount of dope - he was charged with firearms offences and thrown in jail overnight but not charged for the drugs...

Would also love to know how much they've pissed up the wall investigating, meeting, making that decision, alerting every firearms owner by post (I find that odd). The idiotic thing about it is that Australia has no internal customs, if I can get Pepper Spray delivered to my door in NSW from WA, I can get a Gel Blaster delivered from QLD

Barely has ANY customs based on the shit you've imported over the last 5 years.

I'm not a registered firearm owner so they haven't notified me that I now own what they consider a firearm? Cool! Will disassemble and remove the shooty gubbins tomorrow, I guess.

I have 100,000 water beads though, not for the gun, just a toy. How do I safely dispose of live ammunition? :D

Anyway, a thing what I bought:

Bog standard DisplayPort cable from Amazon to replace no-name cable I suspect was causing my computer troubles lately.

Owning a gelball blaster in NSW is serious now, literally all the gelball groups are throwing theirs away until it gets sorted. People are being charged for having them in their possession as imitation firearms which carries a max sentence of 14 years or something. There are at least 2 notable cases now, some random guy who had them in his car, still in the box, who was pulled over for an RBT and a guy who imported a container of them to sell.
In SA we literally play with them outdoors in reserves. We usually have a games up at a laser tag place.

It'll still probably be considered imitation as the gel blasters themselves are defined as toys in the legislation, similar to other states.

EDIT: Oh I see you were talking about it up above. Yeah shits fucked in NSW. Everyone's getting rid of them.

Bought these in my shopping run last week to have with this week's chili con carne. Not bad. Thinking of branching out and trying more hot sauces, especially with all the episodes of Hot Ones I've been watching.

When I was 18, I walked into Myer in Brisbane looking for new casual kicks. I spotted a pair of Skechers, which with a silver glitter "S" on the side, and I loved them but I was pretty broke at the time and the price tag made me hesitate. The sales assistant asked if she could help me, and I said I really liked these shoes, and I was wondering if they had any other casual sneakers with glitter on them. In a snooty tone she said "Not for ladies your age". I shrugged, decided life is short so fuck her, and I bought the shoes.

They were the comfiest shoes I've ever owned, and just a few weeks ago I parted ways with them after around 19 years of doing life together, because they were just too grubby and worn to keep using.

So, say hello to my new Skechers... aptly named "Glitter Kicks".

Sticking with the glitter theme in the hope that this pair will serve me as well as the last pair did:
