In all honesty, both the girlfriend and I are quite private people... and the photos that have been taken would get me banned if I posted them here :dodgy:

All good mate. I didn't see what you posted in the first place.

Incidentally, the flowers I ordered never got to my girlfriend :(

Don't ever use Bloomex.

Saturday definitely wasn't my day for having orders go right.

The husband and I have used Bloomex multiple times when sending flowers to friends and family without issue.

Hmmm, might just be the florist they sub-contract to for the area then. I ended up chasing them up and they said that it will be delivered today with an upgrade. I'm expecting to see an sms from the girlfriend with lots of love hearts in it today - lol

Oh you will probably get more than that - if Hungry Jacks and hiking sticks gets you x-rated photographs essentially 5 minutes after you've met, then just imagine what discount flowers can do.

Assuming she exists outside your mind.. I'm half expecting a waifu pillow.

Jokes aside, regardless if you're happy then that's all that matters.

My family is planning to go to Germany this summer to look for some real estate. By autumn 2019 we are planning [Removed link.] to buy an apartment in Germany because I will move there for my studies for the next 5 years.

Cheers mate. Yeah, she makes me happy. She's the first woman in my life that's asked me if I wanted something thrown away before throwing it away... this includes my mum (edit: as in mum doesn't ask me if I want something thrown away... not my girlfriend throwing mum away). The item of interest was a box of condoms where the condoms are new and unexpired but I put them into an older condom box when I split up the pack... that would have messed up our next evening together!

Some sad, strange soul on the internet who's not bright enough to realise that the bulk of the people here herald from the old Games On Net forum and as a consequence, we're all tech savvy enough to not click on the links he/she keeps putting in their posts.

2 Gold Class tickets to Avengers: Endgame.
United Cinema. Much cheaper than Event, and closer.

I've given up trying to get a wine cooler well humidified.
So I shall store my tobacco in these and use the wine cooler to cool the tobacco.
2 of each. Made in NZ, too - so that's a bonus.

If I could buy things made somewhere else apart from Chia, I totally would pay more.

You wasted that goldpass money on Endgame, was super mediocre IMO. The previous movie was like 5x as good.

I didn't mind it. But then I watched the first 20 MCU flicks before seeing Endgame so a lot of the references to past movies was still in my head.

Biggest purchase disappointment for me though is my Bloomex order... they didn't deliver it the day it was meant to come, nor the second day, they said they'd upgrade my order and guarantee delivery on the third day, didn't do that either, so I called them up that night to cancel the order for a refund, and then had to call them up 10 days later again to say that they still haven't refunded me. The refund had to be approved by senior management which took another 2-3 days. I assume they're like a budget ISP... good when everything goes to plan and horrible when something stuffs up.

United Cinemas charge $25 for a gold class ticket.
The amount of times I go to a cinema makes it worth it.

Heating pads.

I turned my Wine Cooler into a cigar humidor (it works pretty well). As I moved the wine cooler into a cooler part of the house the temperature goes lower than 17.5°C.
So these heating pads are powered by USB so I can easily put them (some) down the bottom of the wine cooler and with the fans in there the heating could get it stabilised. I have a temperature controller and a USB wall adapter.
I bought different kinds, I don't want the plastic in my wine cooler melting so I will experiment with whichever ones are better.

He does get spoiled... he also got a new pocket knife from his parents, and my family bought him Adidas Gazelles so all up a decent birthday haul.
