Yeah same here, it drives me crazy... when I cleaned it out, we had two of heaps of stuff because I couldn't find the first one so bought another etc.

Go nuts at K-Mart, those acrylic bins are massive and they cost $8 each, at HSW a similar size would be about $25 easy. I bought an acrylic egg holder for the fridge, $7 at K-Mart whereas it's $22.95 at HSW. I think I'm going to get some more and get the fridge a bit better sorted.

I bought the Ubisoft $15 Humble bundle the other day just for The Crew. The other games are a bonus. So many games I have got in Humble that I haven't claimed yet (will I ever, who knows!)

Acer S240HL 24in Widescreen LED Monitor

Been using a Dell and a different Acer for some time now.
Dell monitor decided to display a thin red vertical line through the middle of the screen for a few days... Tried different leads and such.

Anyway, I plug in the Acer, and like 3 hours later the Dell stops displaying the thin red line (bought it for like $120 greys online 3 years ago). I got annoyed for like an hour and then happy. Now I have 3 monitors.

Only thing that irks me is 1920x1200 monitors are so fucking expensive. 2 1920x1080 and 1 1920x1200.

Also got half a dozen bottles of wine (including a French rosé that's chilling off in the freezer as I type this), but I've been searching for this for a while.

A few months ago, there was a social media campaign for it coming out. Then nothing - never saw it in stores.

Pure honey? So they're saying they didn't drop it on the floor before they put it in the bottle. Which is nice I guess.

The honey we buy in the supermarket, whilst tasty, is usually heavily processed with added sugar and no bee pollen. It often lacks a lot of the health benefits we're taught honey can have. I assume when they say pure honey, they're probably claiming to use real/raw honey instead of the processed stuff.

Honey is honey like peanuts are peanuts. If honey has additives it's no longer honey. How it's processed won't change that either. You can call it "pure" either way.

Edit: I do have to add that you got me curious enough to send me on a very educational Google search Cherry, so thank you for that. I'm learning! :)

Of course, it's still honey, but how it's processed can change the nutritional value of it though - heating things up, watering them down and removing stuff can affect the nutrients and so on. It's still honey, but it's lacking in some of the goodness, that's all. I only know this because I visited a bee/honey place in Mudgee a few years back and I was fascinated that their honey was so 'different' and tasted different as well, and my fascination earned me a fairly length explanation on all that jazz from one of the owners.

Unfortunately, I'd been wine tasting for several hours beforehand and probably only retained about 25% of what the guy told me - but I do remember thinking it was interesting ;)

Fake/processed honey is a real thing and still called honey. http://www.tastyhoney.com/blog/tag/fake-honey/
But because it is relatively difficult for the ordinary consumer to distinguish between fake and real honey, the practice of passing off fake honey for real may well widespread.
The problem may be particularly severe with honey used in food manufacturing, such as with breakfast cereals and other food products supposedly made with honey.

Mrs Disco always insisted that the computer case be inside a cupboard in the desk, meaning it would be exposed to high temperatures over a long period of time - now it's sitting in the floor with better air flow

What was the reason for that, though? Was it just in the way or something?

This is our old desk, PC sat in the wooden box on the right... it has a back on it, and it originally had a door, which Disco removed to stop me closing it... so the PC was literally in a box and didn't get a lot of air.
