I was raised to not do things I wouldn't want done to myself. And that's why anal sex is off the agenda.

Not exactly. I've been working on my handwriting lately anyway - practicing little circles, consistent squiggles and parallel lines at various angles. I think because of that the transition has been pretty smooth, and my writing is already looking neater. Certain strokes are taking some getting used to though.

I mostly invested in the pen because I'm starting a new degree at uni and will be taking lots of notes. It's definitely easier to write with than a ball pen, and gives you more freedom in how you use it. Your handwriting won't magically get better though :p

It sounds like silly primary school stuff, but getting neater handwriting is actually really satisfying and well worth the fairly minimal effort.

I'd really like to make my handwriting legible, but I'm starting to think that after a couple of decades of little-to-no improvement I'm stuck with what I've got.

Thankfully someone invented keyboards. :)

If I ended up in a role where for whatever reason I hate to take a lot of hand written notes, I think learning shorthand would be easier/quicker than trying to correct my own hideous handwriting.

Honestly, they would have been better off teaching me proper cursive/handwriting (I never learned cursive at all) and basic maths than a lot of the other pointless shit they tried to cram into my head.

Built a PC for the brother in law. with salvaged parts from old bits I had laying around and gave him my powersupply so I had a reason to upgrade for when I want to throw a second GPU in my rig, but the new PSU was too long and the case fan at the bottom was blocking the cables from being able to be plugged in so I got a slim fan

and because I wanted to see how PLE computers would go after the issues with another place that I ranted about in the fleeting thoughts thread I ordered a couple more things

Image

The old wireless keyboard for the media PC has finally given up about 5 years of faithful service and a 1 year old using it as a surfboard

Image

The PC that I built for the BiL is fully decked out in a blue/black theme with blue led fans and it made me want to mod my rig a bit, it doesn't have a window so it will go on the underside of the case.
