Gah I ended up buying it on PC, so we'll see how the old girl handles her but she worked brilliantly with the beta

Tried it on PC tonight.. total bust - single player works flawlessly, however multiplayer doesn't work at all, massive rubber banding on my machine despite my ping and internet being perfect, can only chock it up to a hardware issue.. :( Game is basically unplayable online.

Sorry to hear that Disco. I've had no trouble running it on ultra on my laptop, and I would assume that means my desktop will handle it too. I did have an issue when I first installed it, but then updated to the new nVidia driver that came out on release day. That solved it for me.

Just had a round with my first real cheater in BF1. Won't name names, but he was 86-1 at the end. Reported him, but as we've seen in all BF titles, cheaters prosper, legit players just have to put up with it. EA don't really care.

He actually had people on his team defending him, telling us to "go back to COD".

*Edit: I've played BF games for years. I've never played any COD games. Not that I care if people do. Not sure why that's a thing tbh.

I didn't even see those - not sure what to do about it though, the FPS seemed fine when I was playing, my internet speed and ping were fine :(

Loving it.

Yes. Press A.
if you look at the seating arrangements there will be an A on the seat you'll be rotated to.
Unfortunately I haven't figured out how to pick a seat other than tapping A until I'm in the seat I want (if its available).

Bought this on PC on Saturday, didn't get around to playing until late Saturday night, and then played a fair chunk Sunday.

Had some damn good games yesterday, and then my internet decided to shit itself and I was getting 100% packet loss...
Might be something for you to check to Disco. My ping didn't change from the 50ms that it was on, but nothing was getting through, so I was rubber banding everywhere.

I think they've been having server issues. Me and friends were experiencing this on Xbox last night, one of whom is on the NBN.

I mean I could be wrong but it's a funny coincidence that there were many reports of this.

I also had issues sometimes where the end of game results between games would just sit on the spinning wheel. Wonder if this hindered me from getting any battlechests on those rounds.

Did a bit of research on this and it's gotta be hardware issues, game runs perfectly on my Xbox One :)

I had a fair bit of rubber banding last night though (on Xbox), as did my NBN buddy - and we were playing on official oceanic server.

My only gripe with the game at the moment is the damn horse.
I love playing as the cavalry - but that horse needs fixing. It can leap over tanks or over other horses but can't leap over a small fence.

Horse gets stuck a lot too.

Spent all weekend playing on Xbox and didn't rubber band at all, on NBN and Oceanic servers too - PC still rubber bands constantly in full or empty games.

As for that damned horse, it's the bane of my existence as I'm not fast enough with a controller to get shots off on the rider.

Haha nice work, I discovered in one map yesterday I was better off just sprinting from building to building and stabbing people left right and centre, got my highest kills in that match using mostly just a knife

One of the guys i was playing with the night you were having trouble couldnt play lastnight because of the same rubberbanding you were getting. Out of interest, have you tried putting it on minimal settings?

It makes no sense to me that you could play the beta perfectly fine but on launch it's unplayable.

Yep, all minimum settings, makes no difference at all

that time I snuck up on a sniper with my horse;

http://xboxclips.com/Dexterians/68e7ca1 ... 0fc8397b3c

When the horse isn't getting stuck in silly ways I really enjoy playing that class.

I wonder when the first patch is going to come?
Rubber banding seems to be affecting console players too - I get it every few rounds for an entire round.

Also the more I play this game the more I fall in love with its detail.
I also like how the weather effects etc can make the same maps feel different.

There was a patch last night for PC, I downloaded it and played a couple of rounds perfectly, just wish they would release the patch notes...
Then my ISP decided that I emailed them Saturday about shitty net, so they should reset my connection at 9:20pm... while I was in the middle of a game.

So that was the end of my gaming for the night...
More BF tonight, especially since I have the day off tomorrow.

20 hours of multiplayer on PC, no* rubber banding issues. If no matter the settings you can the same horendous performance, something weird is going on, I'd do the usual, make sure all drivers are up to date, try DX11 if you're currently using DX12, make sure resolution scale isn't accidentally set high, see if issues happen in the campaign as well as multiplayer, close down any applications running while you're playing that aren't needed, so on and so forth

*Once it did for about 5 seconds, then the server crashed and everyone disconnected from it, so I don't really count that
