I should reinstall this, I've been thinking about it for a while now but the MP didn't really grab me in the early days.

It seemed really grindy.

It's good fun to just mess around in the open map, much like the old GTA 4 days. The missions can be quite fun too with the right set of people, especially if everyone has a headset.

I had a lot of problems just getting the game to run in the early days which probably didn't help.

I'll get it downloaded over the weekend and report back :)

I spent a significant amount of my money on a lowrider - worth it.

I really need to spend some time in multiplayer for this. I've played most of the single player campaign but never really got into online.

The reason is they want you to buy a shark card...

but yeah the thing that really annoys me is even after you buy the car to be able to "mod" it you need to pay about $400k just to add the Benny's stuff on and then you don't even get that part back if you sell the car. My first lowrider cost me nearly a million but if I want to sell it, it is only worth $392k Image

Yeah that's bullshit. I pretty much only got mine so I could do the heist. They need to add more customization in general imo.

So considering most people will be playing Fallout 4 from Tuesday, shall we organise a cruise for later in the week? What's a good day for most? Thurs? Fri? something else?

Sounds good to me. Fallout guys will need a break from their main game by playing another game anyway.

I still haven't really tried the GTAV online yet but if this goes ahead I reckon I'll join in and see what it's all about.
My girlfriend played for about 60 seconds on my account but I never got into it myself, I still have to finish the story.

If you want to join us in the cruise I suggest going on as soon as possible because there is like a tutorial you have to deal with first and you need to finish that before you can join up with others.

In fact any one that hasn't done that yet should do that soon so you can join the cruise. It doesn't take long but better to get it done early.

Yeah, you need to get up to the bit where you steal and modify a car, which will be your starting car for online.

I just got gta v finally like a few days ago. Haven't tried online yet though, i've heard heist's are awesome.

Add me on steam if you want, user name is 'korbain'

Just cruising through the story mode at the moment, do you all use mouse and keyboard for it? Been finding it easier for vehicles using the controller

I use controller and my wheel/pedals for driving.
If I remember correctly, controller players can't join up with KB+mouse players, or something to that effect right?

They can but they can't have aim assist turned on...and its a bitch without a bit of aim assist haha Its doable, just annoying.

You can swap over pretty easily from controller to keyboard and mouse though. Controller just feels better for like 75% of the stuff you do in gta v
