Two interesting build videos I saw today, just little things to help make builds look a bit tidier.

Thanks for the vids Yurtles, will definitely have try them out. I've been relying on foundations for slopes but this other method makes things look tidier. I wonder if it works for white picket fences?

I browsed through the Nexusmods site and found even more decent Settlement-related mods (all made by the same guy)

Craftable Ramps and Rails

Craftable Elevators

Craftable Animated Bridges

Stackable Concrete Foundations

I personally won't be using the Elevator mod as I like having one elevator stopping at multiple levels (which won't happen until GECK).

Back then the game ran poorly(if I had monitors on it would slow to a crawl). since updates it seems to work a lot better. I might have built to the ground otherwise since I started from the top.

Started playing the DLC, and 70 hours later I've been obsessed building with the new items. Gun racks got me all excited as I now have a proper armoury. Will have to post pics.

Initially found it cool that a weight bench and pommel horse was included to outfit my gym. But a niggle in the coding means that EVERY settler congregates in the gym rather than the bar, to the point where I've now stored those items until Bethseda (or a mod) fixes the code.

Pretty happy with my Sanctuary settlement, to the point where I consider it complete.

My mods are fairly minimal, I don't like any which aren't lore-friendly, and all objects come from the original game. They include:
Paint that house
Sanctuary fixed roofs
Extended powerlines
Snappable junk fences
