Table and BBQ were already in Sanctuary, I assume he just moved them.

I've only just started the whole settlement aspect of the game, but very cool so far!

I will most likely be the same reason you can create a pool table and I can't... they become available by finding certain Picket Fences magazines.

I've got Issue #1 - The House of Tomorrow which allows me to build picket fences and issue #5 - Welcome Home which allows me to build the patio furniture.

The grill though, was already in someones yard and I just didn't scrap it and moved it up there. Image

Although I would like to know which one allows you to create pool tables as it is suppose to be -

#2 Modern Hearth = High Tech Lights
#3 Essential Upgrades = New Statues
#4 Modern Lawn Care = Potted Plants

I've got the lights one, and I'm 90% sure one that lets me build patio furniture?!

The pool table must be a default as I'm pretty sure I haven't found any of those magazines.

I've decided to build my settlement at starlight drive-in. I haven't have enough material to make a big "town" now so it's just some seperate building :P

This is my private HQ

I'll keep building more stuff as I progress in the game and get more materials. And maybe when I finish the game I'll have my own wondertown. Diamond city will be a bitch

Really digging that illuminated red cross for the clinic, that's a great idea. :)

I'm finding it really hard to find materials to build a massive place. I keep using all my steel super quick :(

Thanks! Although building that is really quite a painful thing to do really. Each of those light use up 1 power unit, so I ended up have to build a couple of tier 3 generator and used up all my copper that I can't even run a wire lol. Don't know how people manage to build a huge pixel model for their settlement.

From Bicketybam on the last page:

tfc - Toggles freefly camera. tfc 1 freezes all animations, useful for screenshots.
sucsm 20 - Changes the Freefly camera movement speed. 20 is default.
tm - Toggles UI Overlay (including console, type TM again to show.)

What's everyone's solution for settlers houses? Just a building with a ton of beds?

I heard that if your defense points is too high then enemy will be less likely to reaid you, which is kinda boring :D like I build all these awesome defensive waiting for someone to attack to test out it power, and no one come

my settlement only has 1 lookout guy and 2 turrets

So I left sanctuary to get attacked and the bastards broke all my stuff. It must just be scripted because there is no way enemies would have survived with my turrets all over the place.

Is there a legitimate way to get weapon and armour workshop benches in settlements that don't come with them, other than having the leadership perk? I want to base a character at Starlight but with only 1 in Intelligence that's not going to happen. :D

Kinda stumped as to why Sanctuary isn't attracting more than two settlers (not counting companions and those from Concord) whilst other settlements like Graygarden and the Starlight Drive-in are at 10+. Sanctuary has ample food, water and uber defences. I've put the beds inside the existing homes rather than build new shacks...is that a problem?

I've resorted to sending "excess" settlers to Sanctuary as supply lines, then re-assigning them to stores once they've wandered in.

Well you can just "send" extra people to Sanctuary, not as provisioners/supply lines, but just as settlers. Once you click on them it is the 3rd option (forget the key).

Enough beds, food, water and defences should be enough. You haven't turned off your beacon have you or accidentally remove the power to it?

Can you post a screenshot of the "send" option? I could only see the "supply lines" options.

Got more than enough food, water and beds. I'm pretty sure the beacon is turned on as a "radio beacon found" message appears when I'm back in Sanctuary.
