Starcraft 2 - Legacy of the Void

Post by Makena » 09 Nov 2015, 19:52

Who cares about this Fallout 4 business, LOTV comes out tomorrow too, but I am going to make use of the FO4 midnight launch to get my copy tonight, save going tomorrow.

I love the Protoss so I will probably end up playing this eventually. I skipped HotS though.

played about an hour yesterday and it does feel pretty good, looking forward to getting into the campaign this weekend.

picked up my copy from JB early yesterday morning and there were about dozen people queuing to get their fallout 4 preorders and the sales assistant asked if anybody wasn't getting fallout, I put up my hand and got ushered to front of the queue as they were still getting the fallout 4's from storage... was rather funny

Yeah it's good, enjoyable, unless you hate the space opera nature of the story, then maybe don't bother as that doesn't change

I really liked the story, the epilogue was nice and appealed to the part of me that is incredibly sappy.

Just finished the campaign myself. I really enjoyed it. Though Protos are my favorite, so i might be a bit biased. I felt the zerg campaign was a little bit of a chore at times (though zerg are my least favorite), this i enjoyed the whole way through.

Overall, I think its their best yet - the cinematography and screenplay was very well done. It was almost like i was playing a movie. I like that approach to games - highly story driven.

I'm terrible at SC2 singleplayer and far, far worse at multiplayer.

I really like the story elements and the ways you can interact with your base and the people in it. I'm just so bad at the gameplay. So, so, so, so bad.

I had all the DLC up to now, I just know I won't be able to complete LotV so I might watch some playthroughs instead.

I've finished the main campaign, still have the epilogue and co-op missions to do. Was good. Mass void rays pretty much won every map for me when I got them.

Finally got myself a copy of the game using some US bliz bucks to purchase the digital deluxe edition. Problem is I still need to finish HotS. Unlocking Artanis in the other HotS was nice, as too was the Diablo 3 cosmetics.

Played and loved all the campaigns, Have to admit I loved the Zerg one the best, although I usually play Terran :P

After finishing LotV Alarak has become my new favourite bad guy. Loved Artanis!

If you ever want to play co-op I'm always happy to throw down. Battle Net name is Kinkykel#1501.

Still haven't fired up SC2 anytime lately (ARPGs seem to dominate my gaming)... probably the closest will be this new HOTS map that's SC themed.

Actually looks pretty cool if anyone plays HOTS. And if you don't and want to play, make sure you use a "recruit a friend" link before getting started so you get a few free heroes first.
