World of Warcraft

Post here while you're in the queue - these games definitely do not have a single-player mode.

Nah I was doing them at level 14 and then again when I'd boosted to 100

They're ridiculously good for levelling off - went from 80 to 88 today with minimal effort expended haha.

Came back after some shopping and I'm logged out of BNET and there's a queue to get back onto bnet launcher... what in the actual #$^#.
Can start in offline mode... but then you have to sign into any game you want to play and it's "Login server full" Position in queue 631... less than one minute remaining... except well, it's been a lot longer and the number hasn't moved.

Starting to remember why I hate online games haha  not even launch day and they're struggling :(

Is it patch night or something?

Edit: well it's maint' shortly apparently... looks like it bought the farm before getting there haha.

Is there a third part to the lead in quests, beyond the Broken Shore quests, and
the Dalaran/Kharazan quests that follow on from it?

Oh, interesting. What's the earliest you can get into the invasion stuff then? Could you level up just from them I wonder.
Really got to find time to try these things for myself... :dodgy:

Level 10 I think I heard someone say? Of course anything below 60 and you might have issues getting form one side of a large zone to tag bosses etc in time :)

I heard someone say they got a new character to 90 in two days doing invasions. They didn't specify the starting level though. I'm tempted to try it tomorrow morning.

Warrior is made, I'm going to level him up a bit myself first and get the hang of playing him before I power him to level 100, but theres a chance I'll enjoy it too much and not actually power level him at all, Made my Demon Hunter last night its always fun to do an entirley new class but I was reminded of this Penny Arcade comic when I got my first quest

I guess with legion it doesn't really matter that much if they release it early, won't be able to do anything until it goes live on the servers.

My druid is ready, my warrior hasn't been power leveled because I'm having too much fun leveling him myself. Might use the level 100 thing on an alliance character, I've never really played alliance side.

I don't think so, I'm in a guild with a few people I used to raid with back in Burning Crusade/Wrath of the Lich King, dunno about others here

Just in time for legion, didn't get to do the DH start thing to get her to 100 though

There's no Player Attack guild. Most people are too embedded with their own ones or happier just lone wolfing it. :)

Are people enjoying Demon Hunter? I only tried it for about 2 minutes a couple days after it released before realising I didn't really want to play WoW again yet.

Im the same dont think ive played since before the pandas came out but i have that expansion. It always turns into an obligation to play and i hate that. Id much rather drop in and out of games depending on my mood

I'm enjoyed Demon Hunter so far, but I feel it will go the way of my Death Knight, Monk and Worgan, I'll play their starting area and then they will just sit there for ever while I go back to my Druid

At the moment my plan is playing my level 100 Druid, leveling up my warrior who I refuse to power level now because I'm having too much fun, and honestly have a crack at an alliance character, I've never played one past level 20, usually when someone new gets the wow bug and I play with them. still don't know what to do with my level 100 boost though.

There's no huge need to use the 100 boost if you don't want, but a huge perk if you do is if you level to 60 first, your primary professions and firstaid will get boosted to 700 skill points, and you'll also have a bit of an idea of how to play the class too, so that's worth considering. (And really the pain points for leveling these days are 60 - 80 as that's the oldest content by a pretty good margin)
