I've never actually played a Marvel vs Capcom game, might check this one out when it comes out.

Used to love the arcade machine back in the day. The gameplay trailer was a bit meh though. Need to see the roster before i make judgement i think

Hopefully marvel/disney arent dickheads and we see the xmen in it as well

Yeah I remember reading that the chances of X-Men being in it are pretty slim, Disney is trying to cut X-Men out of as much stuff as possilble until Fox comes to the party agrees to share the movie rights so they can have X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Yeah, I think X-Men are confirmed as being cut. Roster is about 30 characters from memory.

As much as I love playing as Wolverine, the X-Men did get a whole game where it was just them vs Street Fighter characters (I remember seeing that for the first time... it was so WTF? and "I must be dreaming"). Would be good to see some newer Marvel characters in these games.

Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter was my go to game back at Uni. It was the first vs game to have Easy Mode and since I sucked at doing Hadoukens etc, this made the game extra playable for me. For once I would stand a chance against new challengers - lol

Enjoyed Marvel vs Capcom but couldn't get into Marvel vs Capcom 2. My bro though bought a dreamcast and mastered the game... going on to compete in tournaments. He still gets his arse whooped when he plays me at Soul Calibur though. We have to play Virtua Fighter 5 to have a game where we're both evenly matched. Pity it's not Mortal Kombat as I love those games but he's still better than me there.
