Also, DiRT Rally $12 on Humble Bundle!
Dammit. Hopefully humble can wait till payday
You've got today until the bundle runs out.

Did the first stage of the first event, and came last by a long way. Methinks this is going to get humiliating by the end.

I'm thinking our next event may need to be a couple of short courses and a week to do them.
So we can all throw a few times down rather than a single time.

Also this was my car after 1 of the stages (And yes that front right wheel is missing)

Was going reasonably well on stage three until I misjudged a "right 4 over crest" and smacked into a telegraph pole.

Oh wait... I think that means you haven't signed up to Player Attack's league? Try searching for it and joining if you haven't.

Doe snayone have any ideas as to whats happening to me.. when I go click Leagues, it tells me that "You haven't registered at RaceNet website. Would you like to visit the RaceNet website and signup?

If I click yes, it loads me in and I've already signed up.. can't seem to get past this?
Bumping this because it excludes me from the game...

Agreed. These tracks are longer than I expected (given the same stages are 4 minutes in the SP championship, there must be smaller versions). Smaller events is good too... 45 minutes is quite a time investment given how demanding the game is.

I went to the website (https://www.dirtgame.com/us/home) and signed in using Steam and joined it through there... not from in the game.
That should then work. Otherwise I'm not 100% sure

Edit: I meant that I didn't have the game loaded at all when I did this. Was just in a browser.

For me to get in, followed this link: https://www.dirtgame.com/us/leagues/lea ... yer-attack then signed in on the website using steam. It took me two gos, but worked in the end. From there, opened the game and selected League.

3/6 completed. Guess I'll get there by the deadline... just.

Jesus... did the weekly challenge, a 6 stage event in a Group B 4WD... absolutely brutal. 45 minute was my final time with the top driver running in at 33!! Was good though to see my position slowly rise from 800 as people wrecked out (landed in 551).

I am struggling with higher class vehicles... the speed is just insane, you have to know the road fully to even drive in top gear. Here's how my Peugot ended up after Sweet Lamb... http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =919455757

Annd finished, I came last, but not by a huge margin so that's something.. my Mini was basically undriveable in the last two races, no ability to repair.

Felt like I was doing 'ok' for a while until I hit that night map and the rain map.. those just stuffed me, heaps of penalties lol

Haha, all good.
I'm going to go with Mellie over estimated our talent though :D
Hopefully the next part with 6 short courses should be better

Also it is even an international league now, with the single Kiwi in there

OP amended.

A 5 minute spread across a 45 minute event is actually pretty damned good!

But yeah, I hear ya, will see if I can change event 2 to have;

- tracks with less length
- no rain or night courses
- repairs available on every stage

Thanks all for putting in a time so far!

The 2nd lot of events are all short courses, I checked earlier.
Not sure on anything else
Didn't check the details of each race

So I can only delete the current season... is everyone happy for that to have been the tester?

Mini, you'd need to let your mates know?

Happy for it to be a tester and a bit of fun.
They are keeping an eye on it, and I will keep them informed.

Do you guys play from the cockpit view? I find that super limiting

Cockpit, no HUD, no assists, only the sound of my co-driver and rattling gravel for company... just like the rally gods intended it :D

New season is MUCH better. Short, easy tracks, good visibility, full repairs, best possible chance to do some good runs. I'll continue to take a voluntary handicap and only restart races if I total my car. Once y'all speed up I'll revisit that!

Oooh, got top-tier on yesterday's daily, mid-tier on the Group B weekly. That'll be around 70k credits!

Is there too many tracks Mellie?
Might need to cut it back so we can have multiple runs at it?

I was thinking 2 or 3 tracks that we can then have a few runs at if we don't like our times

Aww man, don't make me change it again! You're an owner and can delete the current season (do it from 'View League') and create a new one. You can already redo each stage though? It's such a demanding game, I imagine most people will just race the Event once?

I don't mind and will defer to everyone else :)

Ok restarted it :D
3 stages all short ones
All during the day without rain

Any 1960's car, and I think I set it up so you don't have to own them to drive them
And a few days to give it a couple of goes

Edit: Starts at 2:30pm

I'm only going to do each race once, CBF rerunning it to save a few seconds here and there.. plus running it once makes it a bit more realistic?
