I might try it free first and see how much I suck (which is likely lots just like all other rally games :D)

Sounds like this isn't the racing game for me then. I sucked at both Dirt 3 and Showdown. I guess that's not surprising from my driving in other games.

Think I'll stick Burnout Paradise and Need for Speed and do my races a quarter mile at a time. Either that or Sonic racing. Love me some karting games.

Since there wasn't a current season, I've made a new season with two events. Each has 3 races: 2 sprints and one long. And each event has about a week to finish it, so there should be time to do both.

Still 1960s.

Also, no restarts on Event 2, but that was an accident.

You should be able to reset your league inside Dirt Rally too.
This will remove the times you currently have and let you make another attempt.
I haven't actually tried this yet, but noticed the option was there with the last set of races we did.

I sincerely wish I had a wheel for games like this, but they're such a pain in the ass to set up and pack away every time you want to race

At about my 13th try to get through Naarajärvi without smashing into a tree, rock, or pole, I really regretted my choice in stages this time around.

Haha, I actually enjoyed these stages, they were fun to drive, even if I felt slow through most of it...
With the few quick people not putting times up this week mine looks great :D

I really like the Monte Carlo track, but the Finnish tracks are a pain. They're just so quick that the margin for error is slim when the road is gravel. By about the third minute my brain can't keep up with the instructions and staying on the road.

Looking forward to sliding my way across Wales tomorrow.

Saw that the current league was finishing in 22 hours. So made a new one starting tomorrow at 5:15
This one is 3 events (All about 3 days each) that have 2 tracks in each.

First one is Class B (4WD)
Second is 2010 cars (I think)
Third one is Class A

All the ones I have setup you don't need to own the cars to compete.
You can choose any car from that class

The no-restart option really messed with me this time around. Had to recover my car twice on the first stage, so my time blew way out. So that made me quite cautious for the final two stages. The Monte Carlo alpine tracks are easily my favourite to drive.

The one good thing about the no-restart option is that the total time to get a time is slightly more than the length of the races. I did it all in 20 minutes this morning - because it was either finish the race or be disqualified.
