Quick and easy card games

Post by kharis » 16 Sep 2016, 13:19

Found out my 9 year old was making a card game with one of his mates at school which is pretty cool

Wondering if there is anything fairly basic that I can grab so we can play and give him some ideas

He's 9 and it would more than likely just be 2 players. I have exploding kittens but I gave the normal set to my sister so only have the NSFW version at home (I repeat, he's 9)

Any ideas, I was looking at the steve jackson one but not sure how complicated these things get

I have now played a few games, hopefully get some more in this weekend.
It is quick to play, and mostly easy.

After a few games you start thinking of strategies, but I'm not 100% sure if they even work...
But it is something that would be playable by younger kids.
Mine don't have the patience to learn.

I got nothing for ya... I was raised to not do things I wouldn't want done to myself. And that's why anal sex is off the agenda.

Tides of Time. Eighteen cards; ten minutes; solid re-playability and strategy.

So many times this…
