Anyone on Kogan mobile?

Post by Mugsy » 09 Sep 2017, 14:41

Thinking of signing up to one of these plans...

https://www.kogan.com/au/today-show-kogan-mobile-deals/

Probably the M one.

I'm currently on Virgin prepaid at $19/90 days but I'm finding that I'm out and about more and need to make calls and use the net on the go more now.

I haven't used them, but the deals look decent.
I couldn't find who's towers they use, did only have a quick look though.

Decided it was too good a deal to pass up and it would be nice to have more than 100Mb of data every 90 days.

Got the M plan... 6Gb every 30 days... I'm gonna be spoiled.

Sim card has been dispatched so it should be here in the next week or so.

Guess I'll see how Vodafone holds up against the Optus network.

Vodafone is craptastic where I am, so is their service :!:

I cut my losses and went to Amaysim that uses the Optus network, they have been great!

Have used for both phone and Internet, but only for Internet when I was bundling my phone with Internode and everything went awry.

Well, I made the port this morning. I have 3 bars of reception at home (not sure if on Virgin I had 4 or 3 bars... definitely wasn't 5). Seems to be OK when I call myself from the VOIP.

Guess I'll see what reception when out and about is like when I head out later today.

Hopefully reception at work won't be so bad... if it is, at least I have unlimited calls so I can return phone calls without requiring a recharge afterwards - lol
