Psychologists will need to invent a new classification for how much of a liar Trump is.

I can't deal with the faces he makes when other people are talking, makes me want to beat the shit out of him. He has to be the most petty, childish, disrespectful person on earth. It's a fkn DISGRACE he can hold public office, we're all fucked if this is reality now.

Maybe it's time to give China or India a go at being top dog, the bar cant get any lower.

China banned Winnie the Pooh from social media as its citizens were using it to make fun of their dear Supreme leader. Trump's an embarrassment, sure, but he's still bound by the liberal democratic system he finds himself in. He can't wield power the way Xi or Putin do. He can say fake news, but can't arrest or kill journalists critical of him, such as in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, or Hungary.

Feel so bad for the team. There's a whole bunch of issues with the NCAA (players don't get paid!) but they all turned out in suits and ties to meet the President and get greeted with... that! He wouldn't even spring for a proper caterer. Such a tacky man.

I see it as a basic lack of respect, his thought process was probably "lets feed them the food theyre used to", like somehow he thought they'd say "oh man, he got us fresh maccas".

The thing I'm unsure about is the extent to which fast food pervades the American diet. I can see it going either way, really, with it either being a good egalitarian gesture that would fit with what they normally eat (this is Trump's diet too after all), or seen as wholly inappropriate given the formality of the function. I tend to agree with the latter, but I understand the former.

Apparently when the King of England visited the US in the 1930s, Teddy Roosevelt served a picnic of hot dogs made by the housekeeper (who was not a good cook). The pomposity of formal occasions isn't always a good thing.

There is a video floating around were you see some of the guys from the team and one of them's got a "what the hell" look on his face and saying he thought they were joking when they got told what Trump laid on - just because mcribs and nuggets with diet coke is trumps favourite food doesn't mean everyone wants it , especially if your going somewhere special like the White House!

And generally in most professional sports these days, diet is a key component of their maintenance and preparation. Most professional athletes would hardly ever eat fast food, and are very careful with what they eat. Highly disrespectful to serve that swill to people to make a living from their physical fitness.
