So who's had a bad Airbnb experience?

2/3 of the airbnb accommodations my bro stayed in recently were below expectations set by their photographs but this story takes things to a whole new level:

I've actually just finished review the place we got through AirBNB for our xmas in Perth and it was great, the place was actually nicer because they just finished renovations but hadn't updated their pictures. I got an apartment that belonged to a FIFO worker who rents it out during their 2 weeks on site so I had no interaction with them outside of email which was great, I don't know if I'd even want to rent a room/guest house when the owner was there.

Totally agree with your last point, I don't do B&B's because I don't like people.
