Kharis, I thought yours was seriously lacking some colours until I realised there's another row behind them lol

MT yours look good too, and a decent price IMO (I paid a small fortune for the Staedtler Fine Liners only to have them piss me off!)

I shall check both out in greater detail - let me know your thoughts on yours when you get them Kharis :)

the ONLY problem with those pens, is if you are using them on a shiny hard surface they rub off/smudge
on canvas or paper - they are fine if you let them dry for a second or two (being left handed that's quite difficult sometimes).

the pen is awesome for fine fine lines or if you press hard it comes out thick. its how all my stars are done in this one (any chance i get ill show this piece off, its probably my best work to date).

Mirror's Edge is one of my favourite games ever. So, on a whim I picked up a cheap canvas, free handed some masking tape and then emptied half a can of spray paint on it. I probably should've tried to get hold of a a wider canvas because when I tried to replicate the original design within a narrower frame, I ended up making the logo look a bit squashed. Oh well, I'm still fairly happy with how it turned out. I've never painted a canvas before.

Well it is kinda art...
My modified X360 controller next to the old one.. Think it will get a visual overhaul next.

Even if it just was a couple of cans of spray paint, was good fun pulling it down, taping it and spraying it.

its Disco's - but it looks factory produced to me. the writing on the top is ingrained into the lid, so i doubt a highschool did it.

*Performs thread necromancy*
So I've gotten into the groove of sometimes making timelapse videos of the stuff I paint. Figured I might as well post them up as people seem to like timelapses a lot.

NOTE- They all have music. Also note that for future projects, the music will not always be low-key - I pick what suits the picture :P

They are pretty cool Kitty. Amazing the amount of work that goes into one of them.
I'm going to assume you use one of those Wacom tablet thingy's?

Yes, I'm using a Wacom tablet - so far it's withstood 6 years of constant use  Well worth paying the fairly high prices. (I don't know anything about the Wacom Cintiqs though, where you draw straight onto a screen so it's more like drawing on paper)

As for software, for the lines I'm using Paint Tool SAI, as it makes very nice, crisp lines without any fuzziness. For all the colouring and effects, I'm using Photoshop Elements 7; it doesn't have all the fancy brush settings like the Creative Suites series does, but that's never really mattered to me as I personally rely more on technique.
