Ghost in the Shell Movie - coming to theatres March 31, 2017.

Hiding the other 4 10sec clips, as people are likely to rage that they keen doing stupid things think this to amp the movie up and then disappoint everyone. Sigh.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts:

The funniest part about that whole debate is that the Japanese fans love it when Westerners are in their movies. So far im more concerned theyve miscast Batou.

Tho lolling @ Takeshi Kitano as the section chief.

It's aight, the Dragonball and Avatar cartoons gave me cancer just as bad as the movie did. Most overrated crap ever.

Is DBZ actually overrated though? Really? I guess it gets more recognition than it deserves but it's all just a big nostalgia train, where nobody off the train seems to care enough to say anything.

I know lots of people who love watching DBZ. I don't think I know anyone who thinks it's actually a good show.

This movie is going to be so bad. They will most likely dumb it down for the masses and remove the elements that make the show so good.

Whats wrong with the originals? They were animated so well and the art is superb - that i dont think there's much if anything a live action could improve upon.

I'm all for a live action GiTS. And Akira for that matter. The existence of the original movie is in no way diminished by however this turns out.

Besides, the film was already remade in the 90s anyway. And we all loved The Matrix.

Not even remotely related lol... "inspired by".

I agree with the other comment though, id rather they TRY and not do anything. Right director and script and either can surpass their inspiration, the originals were great but hardly perfect.

Remade was hyperbole, though "inspired by" feels a bit too weak. :P

"Inspired by", perhaps, in the same way Pacific Rim was "inspired by" Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Whelp... there goes that story.

Fucks me why they feel the need to just blatantly destroy shit, i mean, it's not like it was an award winning story to begin with right?

Oh wait...

Saw this a few weeks back... didn't mind it actually.

In saying that, I still find the Honest Trailer entertaining.
