It's a mind numbing event losing someone, even worse when they were young. While it is some justice (not enough in my eyes) I would have hoped she would have also lost her license for good so it could/should never happen again once she got out.

Only thing I got to say is you deal with it the way you need to deal with it, damn what others expect you to do.

My thing - I can't decide what to do this weekend - Charity golf day to help kids with cancer or a Landcare forum about the goings on in the district? Both lots need to know tomorrow what I'm doing. I really actually want to go to both but can only do one. Someone choose for me.

Working from home today, amazing how much stuff I can get done when I don't have to interact with customers, can't wait for the POS system we use to have a remote client. Then I can do even more stuff from home on the days when toddler isn't in daycare

I'm really enjoying DOS2, particularly playing co-op.. apart from the difficulty in getting us both in the mood to play it (basically, it's like being married, I'm the man and he's the woman, you know where I'm going with this )

My SNES mini extension cables and dual slot micro SD to memory card adapters have arrived.

Extension cables allow me to sit back on the couch to play now Lovely experience!

The MS card adapters work unlike the broken one I had previously that only detected one slot. Very happy that my two 32Gb microSD cards work as one now.

Ugh. Destiny. How can people subjugate themselves to Destiny 2 after the BS that was Destiny 1?
Is Destiny 2 really that much of an improvement or just the same old crap again?

never played the first one and for $11 i'll be happy to get through the story missions and leave it at that, not much for raiding and group content anyways. not buying any dlc until after it comes out, got burnt by wildlands and the division

I don't think I could ever install Rocket League again. I got way too obsessed with that game.

That said, I dreamt about XCOM2 last night and got straight onto the game when I woke up before work, stop maybe it's just my personality.

Found the first one really enjoyable and the second one has some new stuff, plus finally keyboard/mouse instead of controller. Should last a couple of weeks at least.

I remember starting it but I think I had dramas in getting it to display properly on my widescreen monitor, a lot of games have that problem if they're a bit older

I'm in 8 hours of meetings. Back to back. The first 6 hours is via videoconference so I'm nodding sagely while listening to someone talk from Melbourne.

I have got so much work to do! Another late night for Daddy, sorry little buddies, will be able to give the eldest a kiss in his sleep but if the other one hears me enter the room he'll sit bolt upright and want to play.
