OK, I actually didn't get this. They sold out whilst I was contemplating but it was close. Normally $500 but Myer overstocked and were getting rid of it for $249...

Still losing weight over here, now reached the point where I'm not too fat to ride a skateboard, so.. I lived out a dream and bought one. Really prefer the idea of longboards but didn't want to spend big at first, the guys at Basement Skate were super helpful.

Just gotta buy a helmet so I don't crack my dome.

Ah hell! The puffer vests I bought on Saturday have had a further 30% off. I haven't even had the chance to wear the ones I just bought!

They let you use bigger filters on camera lenses than their threaded for ,I had a similar set on my old olympus SLR.

Yeah, none of my circular polariser filters fit my newer lenses so rather than go purchase new filters, I can just grab some step up rings and reuse my current ones. Hopefully there won't be any vignetting.

That model is super cool. I love that interior idea. Nobody else but you might ever know it has one, but it doesn't matter I don't think. All of the fun of models is in building them, not displaying them.

I'd love to have a go at something like that, but I don't think I'd do it justice.. no way I could spend those $$ and not have it look as good as your models doDarius359au wrote: ↑06 Jul 2018, 12:29Ok haven't actually ordered this yet ,(just waiting on my tax return), But it will be my next big purchase.![]()

For those who saw the 'new rug' post, it has arrived... I'm happy with it... just waiting on the lounge now:

Purchased it from Au Rugs and would recommend - it's an enormous rug, quality is great, soft under foot. Was shipped from the USA and arrived in 3-4 days which is amazing, and it cost under $400 which is dirt cheap for a rug this big.

Over a year in and finally a Switch game I'm really excited by, although at first I thought it looked stupid after playing the demo I was hooked.
