I want the Zinger Chipster off KFC's secret menu.

Something a bit different to what I usually get...

And a gift bag from Target to house it all in.
Cousin's just had a baby girl.

Now they need to keep that car so they can show their daughter where she was born when she grows up.

Don't tell her that. She might be inclined to make the next generation there as well!

Pulled into KFC on the way home this evening... primarily to use the toilet as I was about to piss myself (spent an hour parked outside my date's home talking to her) but also to grab this intriguing Hellfire burger to try. They don't have it up here

Hellfire is Red Rooster. KFC has boneless Hot & Spicy at the moment though. Which is what I bought today!

Ah bollocks!
At least I made it to the toilet I guess.

I tried the Zinger Chipster from the secret menu tonight. It tasted like sadness.

Considering the following image comes to mind every time I see the word 'sadness', I'm getting some very non-PG images in my mind.

Ew.
In need of some casual 'jumpers' for weekends throughout the colder months, I threw out my two hoodies when we did a wardrobe cleanout as I'd had them since before I met Disco meaning they were about 10 years old and had lived their best life already. Given how well those ones lasted, picked up these two from the same store:

Just wanted something comfy enough to wear on the couch, but not so daggy that I'd be embarrassed to go to the store in them.

After a week of battling illness post-holiday, I was in desperate need of an outing this morning... so after cooking us eggs on toast with maple bacon for breakfast, my favourite human drove us across to the village of Canowindra where we visited Coco Harvest. which is adorable:

We picked up some delicious treats for Easter:

We also visited a gallery and picked up this cute little original piece:

I finally get to add something to this thread - not a beast but a huge upgrade for me: Ryzen 5 2600 RX 580 8GB 120GB SSD 8GB DDR4 Gaming PC
Chucked in another SDD and I'm loving it - been playing FC5 and started The Division 2 and works great.
Case is a bit crap but I got the whole thing for a great price.

First foray into a buying semi-decent headlamp. At least I think it's an ok one. Time will tell.

Eh it's Black Diamond, if it works hanging off the Eiger mid winter it will work in your garage or camping.

Re: Show us your latest purchase - Autumn 2019
I read on some Dan Murphy's expert reviews "Great to put in the cellar for a few years" for wine that is $15-20 a bottle .. I've never known anyone to actually do that, you'd have to start a collection now, then add to it regularly, then wait a few years before you could start drinking them, what's the point?

Re: Show us your latest purchase - Autumn 2019
I can explain from my experience how we did it.
At first, we bought some wines to drink and some wines to put away. Over time we would drink the wines that are meant to be drank young or that have appropriately aged, all the while replenishing and adding to the cellar. So we've got wines in our cellar now that have been there for close to 10 years that are ready to drink, while others are a few years away, and always a rotating selection of wines that are best enjoyed now. We've always had something that's ready to drink at any given time, as well as getting the benefits of having good wines ageing.
Tonight, for example, we pulled out a shiraz we put away 8 years ago. It's aged quite nicely in that time. Meanwhile the bottle I bought yesterday I swapped into long term storage for a bottle that's 5 years old that we'll drink in the next couple of months. And over the weekend we had a bottle of sparkling wine we had bought recently.

Re: Show us your latest purchase - Autumn 2019
LOL. It was more like fueling up beforehand. We both had a busy and exhausting Sunday for different reasons. I did need to let it digest a bit... else it would have been a memorable arvo for the wrong reasons and things would have been de-officialised very quickly I'd say.
Oh, and I gave her reassurance that nothing was going to go up her you know what (despite my busy hands probably going around that area). That got me in the good books.
