Well, we suspected it... they're starting to recycle the seasonal rewards (S17 will have the same rewards as S5).

But they've added in an incentive to get Guardian... GALACTIC WINGS!!!!!!

And they were doing so well to win us back. Blizzard's fucked up again... 5 extra stash tabs are now gated behind season FFS!

Oof. Hope it's not too much work to unlock it each time. Don't understand why they'll let consoles do it with gold but not PC.

It'll be the same requirement more than likely... hitting Conqueror in the season journey. That's easy enough but when they set the expectations in the initial patch notes and PTR release to be that we can buy them with gold for 600k for the first one and then increasing to 1mil for the 5th one, going back to gate them so that it'll take 1.5yrs to unlock all of them is just plain BS.

Also, it's worse than the first time they gated stash tabs behind seasons... at least that time, they let us buy 1 tab off the bat with gold before having to jump through hoops for the remaining 4.

Well, we got a blue reply to the whole Stashgate fiasco (yes, that's the official name being used over on the official forums).

They say that it was their communication that was at fault, that they have performance concerns over having such a huge amount of stash space be added to the game in one hit (something about a stash bug that no one reported on), and that it was always their intent to just add the stash via season journey unlock.

Players are still angry and not buying it.

I've suggested that they should just release an extra stash tab at the start of each season for NS and seasonal players and monitor server performance during the season before deciding if another stash tab is viable for release next season. There's no promise for the max number of tabs then. Even the forum MVP (the players with green text) agreed with me on this. We'll see what Blizzard decides to do. I just don't get Blizzard lately.

Either way, I'm planning my class choice around the season journey. Likely gonna play DH as one of the classes I'll use. Also likely that I'll need two classes to finish the journey... the 8x set dungeons and story speed run in <1hr just won't do. And I want my galactic wings.

In more positive news, it looks like Chantodos with the cold Archon rune is going to become a thing:

I always did like the shockwave effect... but it was just too infrequent and not damaging enough. Now they've changed that. Good thing as I got a well rolled ancient Chantodo Want last season and I have a primal chantodo source.

Just don't let anyone with epilepsy play the build.

I forgot about the election. Probably because I've done my early vote so that my Saturday isn't wasted.

Still, I'm gonna be busy on Saturday with the girlfriend... probably won't get around to getting a plvl till Sunday night or even Monday.

I just spent a few hours being plvled and carried with both my accounts simultaneous. Had god knows how many vaults as well (incl an ancient one). DBs are healthy, souls is ok. Pretty sure I've almost gotten UE gear. Shadows is complete I think on my DH and my WD has got a tonne of ancient items on her. over P200 on each toon. My alt account is pretty well sorted as far as gems go... had a broken crown on and all I need are emeralds for most part. Didn't expect this much progress after 3hrs but I got lucky with the right group members. Now I feel good about spending the rest of this week with my girlfriend and not having to slug it out too much to get Guardian lol

Went with a Crusader because the Thorns thing is always hilarious. :)

So we're about 2 weeks into the season and I've been able to chip away at the season journey pretty well considering the limited time I've had to play compare to usual.

Managed to get the set dungeons done earlier this week. The Thrill was easy with the LON community buff... just throw on 2 or 3 ancients with a skill multiplier or two and it's done. I got carried with Sprinter the other night... really good player offering his services carrying groups through the conquest. He's basically saved me having to rebirth a second toon in order to hit guardian. I'd never be able to solo it as my hands will cramp up after 20min of play. Done all the speed rift and boss kill objectives too.

Now all I have left are around 15 rifts to build up rift keys, and run about 45 GRs in order to level up all the gems I need. I should be saving up legs along the way... at least 35 more to cube. And also an augment which I'll do with my hoarder. The aim is to do all this by the end of Friday night as I'll be busy with real life stuff afterwards. That's a lot of rifting to do next week... and this is across two accounts mind you (I run them both simultaneously but will obviously need to do some of them solo for the season journey objectives).

Done my 3x conquests for this season!

Also did a tonne of rifts with my GR pushing buddy so I now have enough keys to level up 3x gems to rank 70.
